I got a nice (I think) chunk of labradorite at a show back in March. I'm planning on slabbing it tomorrow, are there any considerations for chatoyance I need to take when cutting it? I know that you have to cut tigerseye at a particular angle relative to the fibers to bring out the effect... was wondering if labradorite shared that necessity.

I think it is similar to obsidian but I could be wrong. I hope someone that is familiar will jump in with the exact process. Fran
