I just cut 6 slabs off an Amazon river rock. The rock shop has a bin full of these, good price, but way too big for my 16 in saw. I bought a couple I could cut. This is excellent, solid material, guess it has to be to last rollin' on the river.Takes an excellent shine, too. This is one I cut slabs off of a while back,I face polished it. I really like this material, dont see it shown much. snuffy

Man, Snuffy, that stuff has an awful lot going on in each slab, lots of neat patterns and colors, lots of variety. Which rock shop did you find them at?

Tom, this came from the Smithville rock shop. The pieces that are left are too big for me.Maybe a 24 ln or larger saw would handle them. I've got a lot of stuff there on consignment, starting to go there regularly.

Those are some fantastic slabs! I bet you will get some fantastic cabs or tumbles out of them! Fran
