Oh - and I have a piece of toast with an image of the Holy Mother - maybe I could list it for at least $1000!

I must be missing the connection as to why this seller thinks this stuff is so valuable.

Yeah, I've seen a big slab of high grade Binghamite from some of the original mine run for $450 locally. I'd much rather have the Binghamite. If anyone is interested, I'll put you in touch with the seller.

181 - I'm guessing this is supposed to be a full section, 2" thick, of some T-rex bone.
If so, you'd think he'd specify what bone it is, if only to enhance the value. More likely, he ain't got no clue.Scratch that. DINO is just a handle on all his listings. So it's just a rock he thinks looks like a T-rex bone.

I see the T-Rex image in the slab, but for 500 I want all arms included...

Never heard of Dino jasper. Sweet--maybe. Museum quality--that is to the eye of the beholder. Is it worth $500? Only if you say so.

This reminds me of the two sisters who sold a corn flake on Ebay for $1,350 because it looked like the state of Illinoise. Outregous!! Another example of American greed.

American greed? More like American stupidity. If could sell corn flakes for $1350 I would so I could buy $500 slabs...Not! It's amazing what people try to sell things for...yeah American greed.

I noticed all his auctions start with DINO - I think the trick here is to lure someone in who has no real knowledge of lapidary and fossils ... Even if noone buys the 500$ one they can compare there piece they buy which is alot cheaper but still very expensive to the 500 one and think they have a great deal ... and a very expensive piece ... They will put it on a shelf and it will be a conversation piece ... Hey look at this ancient dinosaur bone i bought .... Just my thoughts ...
