Donnie, that one is strange, that turned darker when it got polished. Weird. But it's a pretty one, for sure. I like the blue one, too - is it chrysocolla? And the tiger iron looks like a Halloween spook house! I like the one that looks like it's half crazy lace and half red moss - very interesting pattern. I'd call the 3rd one down, "CSI Special" - looks like a murder scene with blood stains running across the carpet!
Nice batch!

Haha Tom, that's a good one. These are super sweet. Love Nate's surprise material! Wonder if it turned because of Hematite. The Ruty is way cool. Good job on all. Jo

Awesome cabs Donnie. I wish I could tell you what that one I sent you is, but I have no idea lol! I'll have to look and see if I have any more, as that's pretty cool!

You sure have a great batch here Donnie. That red breccias that fades to white, I wish I could remember where I have seen that before. Looks almost like there is a bit of moss in there too at one end. I am wondering if a treatment with Opticon would fix those blemishes on the rutilated quartz. May be something to try down the road if you wanted to go that route. I have noticed that a lot of the rhyolites and sandstones will go darker as you work them. Sometimes quite a bit darker. No matter what, they always look cool! Fran

I am not sure if the Opticon would work as those blemishes are internal. I have never used the Opticon & I do need to get some.
