Thanks Marie, I tried your style of swirlies on this one. Not real happy with the design. Wrapped in Brass. Then I tried this one. I did it! Only one multiple swirlie but it worked. This is an agatized pet wood? very small stone I found. I ground it down and only got one cab out of it. But I love the colors it has. Wrapped in Argentium silver 22g square and half round. Then I did a pet wood that has not been agatized, also from a very small piece. It just looks like a piece of wood but it is petrified wood. Wrapped in Argentium 22g. Then I tried this one, lots of fun with this one. The pattern in the stone just called out for lots of swirlies. Wrapped in Argentium 22g. Marie, are you left handed? Because when I do your style of swirlies it just feels backwards to my hands. I have to really think about the direction I am going with it. Or maybe my brain is just backwards. Must be that madness you were talking about. Thanks everyone for lookin, Amy

Wow, Amy ..... just WOW! I love all of them. The best (for me) is the last one - the stone is a stunner, and yes, it wants all the extra swirlies.

Amy...first of all, they all look great!~!!! no I am not left handed, but it really doesn't make any difference I don't think. I wrap my swirls in all different directions! LOL Try this: 3 pieces of brass wire about 6 inches long. lay them side by side, flat on the ball of your left index finger, holding them there with your left thumb. OK, bring the wires around as if you were making a single loop, only bring all 3 wires around at the same time. To make this work, you need to bring those wires all the way around, until they are straight up from the ones you are still holding down. Use the BALL of your right thumb flat down on top of the loop you just made, it's hard to explain, but you have to hold on to those wires while you bring them around, as well as keep your thumb down on top of the loop......does that make sense?

Marie, It does make sense. For some reason my right hand wants to hold onto the wires. The hard part for me is to make the wires go around the back side of the loop. like I did with the second one. I think that is what I like about your loops. They look very clean when they come around behind with multiple wires. My brain always wants to make them loop around the front. I guess because when working with a stone in the way, it would be easier to scratch the stone when pulling them around the back side of the loop. Doing it with out a stone is no problem. LOL. Just takes practice I guess. Make sense? Maybe I think too much about it. Gotta let go of my brain.

Very nice swirlies, I agree, the last one just begged for more swirlies.
