Well Tony and I have not had a lot of time for rocks lately due to family illness and the fact that he is moving in to my already full little house. So our nights and weekends are spent packing and cleaning out. Making room for Tony's stuff in my closet was the one area I was really dreading working on. Yesterday I spent all day doing that, and at one point said to Tony I think this could be a RTH contest! The contest is easy! 3 answers needed to win!1. How many pairs of shoes did I get rid of? 2. How many pairs of shoes remain? 3. How many inches of closet space did Tony get to hang his clothing? The prize will be winners choice depending what they like, rough,slabs, cabs, we will see what the winner wants but a FRB full of something. Have fun!!!! I will give you little hints along the way! Amber shoes got rid of : 15.5- that is assuming that closet animal did not eat the whole shoe. shoes still have : 12 inches of space given away: 4.12 inches based on what my wie gave me sooooo many years ago. Got rid of 14 pairs of shoes.
Still have 37 pairs
Tony has 31 inches of space

10 pair remaining, though you have hidden (um, relocated) 4 of those 10 pair somewhere else.
24 inches of space, but that does not include floor space, just hanging rod.

WOW one person is close to closet space.
Dicky the RocKhunter- you are right about the .5, LOL I found one brand new shoe with no match anywhere to be found!
Closet space is only the rod, not the floor. He didn't get any floor space!!!!
He got 7 shoe slots and an entire dresser, that was tough to clean out too, LOL Oh and I got him a magnetic board to hang his cab necklaces on so they don't get tangled, and cleared the perfumes and lotions to give him room to lay his wallet, I am too generous, LOL About the time he is done moving in, he will want to move out, but hey I will be super organized! I am really lucky I found Tony and his calm demeanor!

So your buying the book even tho you have a library card huh? :cheesy: You gave up shoes for Tony?!? When my wife & I got married I think we only had two pair each (of course it is Florida...who needs shoes ;D) Ok...shoes given up = zero... you just hid them at the neighbors house. Closet space = 19.3" (and that was pushing it). & space for one pair of boots under the bed . Oh yah... and 800sq ft for rock cutting equipment :drool: :drool: :drool: Remember...the best way to get along is not to complain about anything for atleast 60 days and that's both of ya'll (by then it will all be a habit and ya'll won't notice any more) ;D Best of luck and thro another log on the fire Dr Joe . |

I don't know Amber, you are pretty generous overall so I will say 20.1 pair gone, 22 pair stayed and depending on how wide your closet is, I would say you gave him almost half but for a guess, I will say 42" of closet space.
