I have been working on this chunk of Maury Mt. for a while now and every time I open the lid to the saw my jaw drops, this slab still has oil on it, the other slab is of some Howlite, I just acquired. Thanks for lookin.

That Maury Mt. is some beautiful material. The Howelite looks like it could be old stock Tic Canyon material. I just sent a 4" cube of Howelite to a friend to have a sphere made. Don

Please post a pic of the sphere, when you get it. I'd love to see it.

I'd love to see it too. I also sent him a cube of Crestmore Blue Calcite from the Crestmore Quarry in California to make a sphere for me.Unfortunately some company contracted him to make 100 spheres for them, so it's going to be a while before I get them back. I'll be sure to post them when I get them. Don

That Maury Mt is gorgeous & I like the Howlite as well, it's prettier without any dye in it.

That Maury is sweet, Clint! Crazy mossy patterns in it, and looks like the patterns will show lots of depth as well. It should be fun studying the best way to cab it.
I have a piece of that Howlite also - didn't know what the heck it was when I cut it, but RTH'ers helped me out big time! Funny stuff.
