I was wondering if someone could tell me how much Cerium Oxide I need per pound of rocks in my tumbler. Thanks, Mark

Hi,
I use about 1/2 TB per pound of rocks. I've read that you can use less, but have never tried it.

Hi Slabcabber,
Dont forget you can use the mixture over and over again I just used to add 1/2 a tea spoon of fresh CO now and again

If I reuse the Cerium over do I need to run the polish stage longer ? Or do I just run it the same as I always do?

Hi I generally run just the same
Note on saving Polish, Colect all polish and washings from polished rocks stand in a tall glass jar to settle out Let it stand a week or 2 till the water is clear then pour off as much of the water as you can Leaving a thick paste of CO polish ready for the next batch
Hope this is a help to you
