All of these have been done on my Lortone 10" in the last week or so. Most of them, I have no ID for, but I'll give a guess. The batch: Some moonstone - a couple different types - some Montana moonstone from "spokanetim", and some that I got from Jo ("naturenut"). Oh, and what I think is a chunk of some purple agate that I got from Clint ("stoneviews") way back last December and just now got around to playing with it. Unknown, but may be some moonstone that Jo sent me. A little sliver of tigereye that has both brilliant blue and gold flashes A little rhodonite rock Slag glass - probably my least favorite shade! More slag, but better colors Something I think is Rio Grande red moss, or a close relative Red jasper/agate I bought on eBay - unknown location Not a clue - shades of olive and avocado Sliced up a thunderegg That's about it. Having fun with the slab saws. Tony (catmandew) sent me a new blade for the Lortone, and it just came today. The poor mailman - this neighborhood is old, and has individual mailboxes at the curb, but for packages that won't fit, he has to get out of the truck and walk the mail to the front door. Today, he had to do that in a monsoon (the remains of tropical storm Hermine are with us today!). I think he might not like me very much! Anyway, the new blade is right now making a thin cut on a dressing stick. I'll repeat a couple of times before cutting a rock with it. Well, thanks for looking, & I hope you have a great day! Tom
