Wow, there are a lot of fantastic materials in these pre-forms! I cannot wait to see them cabbed. The ones in the 6-th pic are really cool, what material is that?
Adrian
PS. If I may suggest you something, you shouldn't draw a cab shape which won't fit on the slabbet entirely, even if it is very close to it. You won't manage to get the desired shape this way and will get an asimetrical cab instead. Also, take care if the shapes fit on the back of the slabbets, as their margins might be inclined across the thickness.

Indonesian Feather Agate & thanks Adrian, I will watch that. I noticed to that I have to be careful not to draw them too close together, too.

Glad somebody else noticed those rocks in the 6th pic. That material looks really cool. I think your gonna be a busy Donnie for the next little while. It looks like fun...I might just have to do some of that cutting today. Good lesson Adrian. When I first started marking cabs I did'nt pay attention to the opposite side and many times after I;d cut it and start grindding I figured the edge on the backside was completely off. Didn't take me long to figure it out though. Steve

Great preforms. The feather agate has two of my favorites of the whole batch.
Looks like you have plunged into a whole new world of better material.
