I just got back from abroad. Here are a few things we brought back from Peru. Pink opal Blue agate high-grade phosphosiderite Two pieces of silica chrysocolla, showing variation in the material from the same locality. Color is often concentrated just beneath the skin of the nodule, but sometimes achieves good saturation. serpentine - I am told this is getting harder to get than it has been in the past. Rhodochrosite! Silica plumes and malachite in fortified agate.
