Hi all!
This is my 6th installment on the ongoing saga of my carnelian batch. I decided just to let er rip for a couple of months and then check it. This is using my Lortone 33B.

I also checked the other batch which is much softer material and decided (after guidance from one much wiser than myself) to rinse them off and set them aside for some other rainy day time.
I have also started a (think this is correct) Washington river agate batch (from a big bag Jo gave me when I visited. They are delicious looking goodies in their current state. They should be awesome when done.
As for the carnelian, they are coming along nicely and I now have 3 pieces I have pulled because I consider them perfect right now. I also have a wonderful addition to this batch. While visiting Jo, she gave me some fire agates, which I am coming unglued about getting and being able to work with them. She showed some of her finished ones and I am awestruck! They are awesome! I cannot wait!!
First I will show the river rock, then fire agates, and the carnelian: Enjoy!

Note: after rinsing these off and looking at quite of few of them under a lamp, some (this may sound weird) look as if they have blood running through them. I can see some small ribbons and small areas that look like deep red blood. Hopefully you guys will see it as well and hopefully someone can tell me what these might be. Again ... enjoy!
