Hi guy's picked this up yesterday in a estate sale. This is made out of wood and I'm wondering if it was handyman unit. I used a Thumbler belt I had for a spare. Now I will have to search to see how I can make a container to tumble some Silver and metals with it. Have A Great Day, Cliff

Looks like it's homemade, rollers look like they're from a copier or folding machine.
And now I look it more the motor & pulleys could have come from a folder also.
Looks like free shaft is in backwards (black rollers don't line up).
Did they use bushings ?
PVC barrels might work for you or maybe just a couple of heavy plastic jars since you won't be tumbling as long with metal as with stone.

Could be wood dowels. I have an old Thumler's with one wood dowel. Came that way used, works fine. If the dimensions are close to Thumler's AR-2 or Lortone 33B I would buy two of those drums.

I don't think it is a Thumler's but maybe someone's copy. I doubt a company called "True Square Metal Products" would have made a wood tumbler. Dr. Joe, "way far"?

Thanks for the information guy's . I think I will try a couple of heavy plastic jars. I'm sure something will show up at another yard sale.
It's fun to find items at yard sales.
Thanks, Cliff

I had the same tumbler years ago. It had a Thumler's label on it and it was made of some sort of Phenolic material not wood. My ex-wife sold it at a garage sale.
