Howdy folks, Well, cut the last two Rio Grandes from my neighbors yard. Man, this stuff is hard. Second piece stopped the saw again so I had to resharpen with more Toenails. It is pretty amazing how well the cheapo Criterion blade is cutting and how long it's lasted. Still has lots of diamond too. The largest of these slabs are almost 3" by 5" which is big for a ten inch blade. Anyway, here are some more pics....Mel Largest one, a real orange colored moss/brecciated agate: Close up: This one is kind of dense moss made up of little spots and orbs Close up: Just my sharpening rock, Devil's Toenails. Think I'll hit the rock yard in a day or two to pick up more of this as it really works well for blade sharpening. Plus it's darn nice for cabbing. really need to cut me a bola out of this.
