I haven't been around here much, or doing much with rocks. A cab here and there, but nothing serious. Well, the reason is I've been doing a lot of riding on my motorcycle this summer, and decided I wanted to upgrade. So I started looking.... And looking, and looking, and.... ... I finally came across this: It's a 2005 Suzuki SV1000S. It's got a liquid cooled, fuel injected 996 cc v-twin powerplant, and should carve the road up nicely compared to my old Virago. Now I just gotta get a full face helmet... The search is on LOL! Hopefully I'll settle down soon and get more rockin' time. Nate

Haha Nate, I don't think a single person blames you for spending quality time with your new baby! And it's got a spot for your girls to ride with you! Congrats!

LOL, thanks Jo, I just picked this up yesterday. Been riding the ol' Virago all summer. I love that bike, it's just a little soft in the corners. I'm not gonna turn into a knee dragger (or at least I don't think I am) but I wanted something more responsive. Paul, I'll be riding for another 5 or 6 weeks. I don't usually put the bike away until it snows, or just before deer hunting, whichever comes first. I'll get on the rocks soon. Gotta do something with all of it!

Thanks Fran. The bike runs real nice. It's very "flickable" throught the twisties. It does lean a little farther forward than I'm comdfortable with, but I'm getting used to it. If I want, I can buy a handlebar kit to give it a more upright riding position.
Y'all should see the paint in the sun! It's called Pearl Crystal Red, and has a metal flake that looks a lot like red goldstone, lol.

You should be able to get down here pretty quick on that beast. The leaves are gonna fall and cover the rocks soon . Ted

Thanks Ted and Amber. Don't worry, this thing is pretty quick, but I know when and where to use the power. I've crashed once on a bike and don't want to do it again if I can at all help it. Besides, I gotta keep the speeds down, because speeding tickets cut into the rock budget. lol
