Good thoughts, Jo. And also make sure you're available to answer questions/resolve issues when you've sent something. That way the person knows you're working with them to resolve any problem. Appears Troy was just out of pocket...

I always share the tracking number with the person whom I send some box to. This way the person can see anytime where is the box and when to expect it. I do this even if it's not about sold stuff (I don't sell) but for gifts, prizes or swaps.
I think sharing the tracking number is a simple gesture which gives confidence to the receiver.

Jo, Toad and Adrian, you have all given points that should be practiced by all who ship from one to another, not just on RTH but anywhere. We are respected based on doing what is expected and following up to be sure all is kosher. Thanks for the input and I hope everyone reads this thread. So glad that Tony stepped forward and took ownership to correct this problem.

OK....well, I had not heard from her, and still haven't, so I apologise. I am kinda stuck in the middle here, and I hate that, but I guess there is nothing I can do about it. If it was made right, then it was, and I am a happy camper. I know she was having a cple day surgeries or something, so that may be why I had not heard from her.

We exchanged a couple emails after she recieved them. I told her how sorry I was and she forgave me and said she was happy. Let's just put this all behind us and get on with life.
On a more personal note, Marie, I am sorry for the way this all came about! I pray you can forgive me for being such a jacka$$! You ended up in the middle of a bunch of crap that my forgetful mind caused and for that, I am deeply sorry!

Yeah Don, she now has the motor she needs, as well as a dop pot, some preforms and some slabs that I threw in. She said she was gonna join this forum and I hope she does!
