Congrats on the sales! I still think stone jewelry provides a lot of value; they're much less expensive than typical jewelry store items and each one is unique!
I really like your simple wraps. I often think the extra wire is like gilding the lily. The stones don't need adornment.

All are beautiful. And I agree, simple is best. No need to improve on the beauty mother nature has already created.

Very clean, neat wire work. You get a simetry which is not easy to achieve.
Beautiful cabs, too; #2 and 3 are my favorites

PS. Congrats for the big selling, no wonder about that.

Wow, now that is my kind of wrap. I love the pictures the stones present and sometimes the wraps overwhelm them. These are stunning stones with a wrap that frames the beautiful stone. I love them!

Those are beautiful, and I'm really amazed at the symmetry of the binds, especially on the first and third ones. Awesome work!

Those are really beautiful.. Nice job on the quality of the wraps. I like wraps both ways. With swirls and without. It depends on the stone and the buyers taste. Everyone likes different things. Congrats on the sales. I think I will make a few tonight for the show this weekend without swirls and see which ones sell first. Test the market. I'll let you know how it turns out.

My guess is this.... The style of wrap depends on the area I guess... That is the style I was doing for a couple of years, and now where I am they want the swirls and loopty dooooes for now.....I sold a lot with the same simple wrap you have here ... Then I did one with a fancy wrap and boom. that is what everbody wanted. But you never know about tomorrow so I keep some of both.....

Man if people didn't really like em, they wouldn't be buying them at those prices, (which are not unreasonable, at all) in our present economy. Great job on stone layout and design. Really would like to see the back side of one of them to understand how the cab is captured. Thanks for sharing your work! Gary

Lovely wraps and stones. I esp. love stone #3.
I also prefer a simple wrap, although I think the more elaborate wraps are truly beautiful. It all depends on one's personal preference.
Congrats on all the sales. Apparently you are doing something right!

I think those are beautifully made cabs, and I really like your "simple is better" wrapping style. May I ask - how do you sell them - local shop, online/eBay/etsy, or something other?

During the summer I sell them at farmers mkts where I sell fruit. I have a 15" x 17" box that I put out on a table surrounded by fruit. W/4 tables many people never see them and my best 2 mkts I go to don't let me put the box out. I'm sure at my saturday mkt I could do $1k every mkt if they would. In the winter I do small shows and I might be getting into a couple of gift shops in Denver also. I have started on etsy but need more time to devote there, maybe in november when the mkts end.
