Howdy folks, Not been doing much rock stuff lately as I've been busy with the horses and and other ranch issues including one of the greenies friggin wind farm power lines the powers that be are trying to run across our ranch. I did manage to cut a few slabs yesterday while I was mowing the lawn though. These are both from the Basin Road site in the North Cady Mtns east of Barstow, CA. Kind of a moss/plumy thingee: Closer shot: Mossy/fortification agate, first two cuts: Third cut which came of thick because by vice went bonkers ( screw fell out *L*)

These are so beautiful Mel! I love that last slab and the first stone you cut has some amazing patterns in it. The close up makes me think of a valley on fire with the wind blowing and smoky clouds above. Intense! Fran
