Guess this is still on, I am just not planning it. Jamie & Rodney did a GREAT job on the first Burro Creek and they will do a good job on this one as well! Have fun everyone!! I turn this over to Jamie.
There is not enough interest this year. Probably the economy, maybe next year.
Jamie, Rodney and I have planned a Burro Creek Bash in 2011. February 3rd through 6th, 2011.

too cold for me on the bike maybe ill make it next time, jan and feb is truck and bike insurance months so id be broke anyway -- you guys have a great time ill make it back there one of these years haha

Good news/ bad news....first the bad news, I won't be making my Arizona trip this winter. Good news, I got offered a job at a potash mine I have been applying to for 25 years. I am very dissapointed that I won't be able to see my Arizona friends this winter, but I hope to make up for it next time.

Unless I get a few more participants, I am going to cancel this hunt. Not to many people interested this year, I think it is the economy. I will wait until Friday, Nov 5th to make the final decision.

Depends on how sales at Quartzsite goes for Chris and I as to whether we can make it or not.

Maybe if we can't do a Burro Creek Bash we could try a Quartzsite Bash, just an idea. I know there is "dry" camping in the desert and since some of the RTH'ers are there anyway it might be fun to spend a few nights shooting the breeze in the desert and maybe getting in some rock hunting in that area. Could be fun.

Seems like 6 days from the time you open the thread to the time you cancel the trip is a bit premature, not everyone checks these everyday.

We will still be going so if anyone else wants to go, please feel free to join us. I sure wish you could make it Brent, won't be the same without you.
Still planning on the 3rd through the 6th of Feb.
If you can't bring everything you need to survive for three days, just let us know, we have lots of gear and would be glad to supply things to whoever might need them.

I had something different posted here but I deleted it. No need to involve anyone else in this.
I am truly sorry Tony, I did not mean to throw the trip up and cancel it but ....... by myself I can not afford the reservation or the cost of getting things together. I should have thought things through before posting the trip. I am sorry everyone, my excitement over ran my common sense.

Diane, Amber and I were just talking about a Quartzite get together. We have tentatively planned a trip out west around Jan 15. We know that Tony, Chris, Jamie, Rodney and Maryann and Ralph will be there. We are hoping to see more of you as well. We'll post about it once we solidify our plans.
