This is a utah "cosmo" agate. The wrap is a combination of ideas I've been exploring this week.

Really cool wrap. Don't care for the little loops over the stone, but love the swooping bands on the top and the triangles. Really well done.

Thanks for the feedback toad, this is the kind of stuff I'm looking for.
The little loops don't really do anything for me either, but was unsure how I wanted to terminate the wire band other than just crimping it over. In the past I would have just left the ends cut at an angle, or done wider, open ended curls. The problem with those options is that they tend to catch hair/clothing and get bent out of shape easily which resulted in complaints from people who've worn my previous designs. So now I'm doing my best to make sure all of the wire ends are crimped/rolled or otherwise tucked away. Perhaps a better option would have been to tuck the ribbon/band end into the gap left by the bail, or leave my wires longer so I can wrap the ends around to the back of the cab and tuck them away there.
I'm pretty happy with the ribbon/band and triangle elements. The picture doesn't show it well, but the bands have a nice little knot/weave that really works with this stone. The bands can be tricky to work with though...if you want them to stay together, they need to be wrapped at an end, and it helps to tape them together in several places as well while bending to keep the wires together. Be sure to wrap the ends first before shaping though as it's really difficult to do so afterward. One thing about the triangles, you have to be sure to make triangles for your back binding wires as you make the front ones otherwise you'll have nothing to work with for securing the stone in the back!
The silver with gold trim is really working for me too. I can add that "rich" look to a wrap and bring out the warm tones in the stone without depleting my meager gold fill wire supply this way.

Nice attention to detail, the triangles are perfect. I really like this wrap. The cab is really nice too.

I love the triangles too. I must be honest, I am no crazy about the bands at the top. To each his own. I gotta try those triangles though, they are really cool lookin.

I like it, looks like the cab is in a setting rather than wrapped. I don't think the swirls on top look bad, they are not large or overpowering and since they are closed loops they probably won't catch on anything.

That is a really good job! I like how you did that wrap, particularly how it does look like a setting, in how you did the triangle wraps that hold the stone.
