Johnson Brothers FC seems to be the producer of the old ADM line of equipment, including Rock Rascal saws and parts. They also make Lube Cool water soluble coolant. Their prices for lapidary equipment seem about as low as you'll find on the Net, but you'll pay for it in service. www.jbfc.com/I submitted an order via email and days went by without a response. I called and spoke to somebody who sounded like he was from India (so much for Johnson; nothing against Indians by the way, just was surprised by the Johnson thing) and he was on his cell phone away from the shop. He thought he had completed the order (he had not), but would look into it when he got back to the shop. A week later I got the stuff. My order was complete and well packed, but the deal took about 2 weeks. Chuck

Yogi (really that is his name) bought the company 2-3 years ago from the surviving brother. It was a wholesale only operation but he is now pretty much selling wholesale to the public. All the former employees were fired or replaced with his nephew and other relatives so, yes you will likely hear an accent if you call. Johnson Brothers was a great company for a lot of years and are most known for the Rock Rascal, Lube Cool (or Roc-Cut), and Proslicer lines. When I bought from him I always had to ask for prices every order as they tended to change without notice. He and his nephew are showing up at shows all over the West so that may explain slow service.
