My other half found this site earlier today. He's been tumbling rocks for about a year now and I've been making some of the output into jewelry. About a month ago he initiated me into the mysteries of tumbling and I am about to put my first batch into the final polish. Along the way we've had a few bumps, like holes appearing in barrels and tumbler motors dying. It's been an adventure! I imagine you may hear from him occasionally too.
I've been making jewelry for I guess around 8-9 years and for the last couple of years have been very into wireworking. One thing I like about wrapping tumbled pieces is their irregularity. I don't even mind a few flaws. Perfection is nice, but I find it boring after awhile. The imperfections remind me that even something imperfect can be made beautiful!

Welcome to the forum Jilly. I'm a tumbler also and am looking forward to seeing how you wrap your tumbled stones. I've tried it and to no success. There are alot of knowledgable members on here to offer advice if your stuck. Tell your other half to show up once in a while with his treasures too.
