Wow!
Did you also make the beads, and if you did, is it hard to do? I know that some people do make their own. It boggles my mind to even think about doing something like that.

Marie, that is awesome. How long did it take and it appears that there is an individual wire for each bead, us that truly what I am seeing. I'd love to know how you did that.

The chain is a chainmaille "byzantine" weave......my first ever, so probably took waaaaay longer than it should have, 8 hours about for the chain. Today I spent all doing the beads. So a grand total of about 15-16 hours..... Yes they are all attached individually.......there are 4 strands....16" long....of beads, 2 strands were 3mm, and 2 were 4mm beads. I saved out 8 of each bead, thinking I will make a set of dangle earrings to go with the necklace.
LOTS and LOTS of wire.......have a 50 foot coil of copper on hand before even beginning a project like this, the necklace is approx. 22" long stretched out, without the toggle clasp. toggle is purchased. The chain itself took almost a coil of wire to do. The beads are wired on individually with 24 gauge round wire, as these are LITTLE beads, and that's bout all that would go through them. I think it took more patience and concentration to wire those beads on, than it did wire! hahahahahaha I did the chainmaille from a free tutorial posted by a fellow artisan on facebook.......I WILL be doing more...very addicting. The original idea was to attach a Laker wire wrapped pendant to it, but...when I saw these beads I got in the mail, I new they would look better like this. Thanks!!! Glad you guys like it!!!

Very beautiful Marie. You are so talented and creative. I have never tried anything like that and doubt I'd have the patience to do it anyway. You seem to have a knack for making beautiful and unique items.
