Greetings: My Son has been interested in rocks for a couple of years. He's turning nine this December. He says he's asking Santa for a rock tumbler this year. Luckily Santa has a interest in rock tumblers as well. Santa's list has a Lortone C-100 with (2) six pound drums. The machine looks to be very well made. In order to speed things up a bit in order to maintain interest he also has a Lot O Tumbler on the list.
The Rock Shed sure knows how to hook Santa up. Shawn is very knowledgeable.
I'm looking forward to documenting the results and posting a few photos here in the forums.
I don't expect success with the first try, but it will be fun and a great way to spend time with my Son.
It's great to be here on the forum.
Thanks for a great site full of good information.
Greg

Welcome to the site. You are off to a very good start, great to be doing this with your son. But I can warn you right now how addicting this hobby can be. Your Santa list next year will probably include a slab saw, cabbing machine.......if you can wait that long. ;D

Welcome to the forum Dixierocks. Wonder if I can get Santa to hook me up too...lol. My list looks more like what snuffy says though so don't know if Santa has the funds this year.

Welcome aboard Greg. Lots of nice people and great info on here, so just sit back, read, enjoy and get to know the folks on here. Please Santa, bring me a new 16" blade, and new gaskets and belts for my Model B tumbler. It ate a belt this morning. I'll have to use the belt off of my AR-6 for now. Don
