I've had 2 12lb lortones running the last month with all palmwood. These are individual pieces,no 2 alike.There was a heavy overcast today, the shine doesnt show well, but they are shiny. Better to see the fibers in the wood.Gonna really enjoy the next 4 or 5 lot-o batches, this was the first out.

In the 2nd picture there is a chunck at the 11 oclock point on the quarter that is mostly white with some little brown wiggly looking straws in it....... I have one that looks just like that snuffy.
