I have been staring at this box of serpentine slabs for quite a while trying to figure out what to do with them. After pondering for a couple of beers, I came up with an idea. Not sure what to make of it yet. Thanks for looking. Tim

Cool. Gonna have to bookmark this one for future reference. If all goes well, I'll have my sphere machine around next June. Gonna try one of these layered spheres.

Cool sphere Tim! It reminds me of one of those twisty brain teaser puzzle deals.

That's really nice. Great test of whatever glue you used also.

I used a 330 epoxy. The only issues I had was the hard coarse grit cups were chipping the slabs between layers, I switched over to diamond soft pads and it worked great.

Thank you everyone for the compliments. The wifey likes it so much she wants me to make two or three more of them. The most important part of pondering a creation like this is the COLD BEER, what works for me is Silver Bullets. ;D I wish I can get back into the garage and ponder some more, but I am off to a three business week trip to Europe and Asia in a few hours. Take care, Tim
