Yep, a machine chewed up some turquoise, then drank some purple dye and ate some bronze, and this is what it crapped out the other side..... (reconstituted turquoise)...... Another wrap for Cathy, she's a good wife ;D

Absolutely beautiful. Did you reconstitute that? Or did you buy it somewhere? I love those colors together. Perfection.

Hmmmm, maybe I'll do another and put it up for auction. I still have enough for another cab. Amy- I'm not sure what the machine is that reconstitutes this stuff, but from what I understand it takes a lot of pressure. The slabs are a bit pricey for the size that they are but well worth it. Thanks y'all!

I'm not much for artificial/reconstituted rocks - but that one is pretty cool. The wrap is great as usual.

That fake turquoise is dyed chalk, bits and pieces, some american, lots of chinese, etc. It is manufactured by Colbaughs in Arizona, you can buy it in rough form, slabs, cabs, whatever Here's the link. www.colbaugh.net/Enjoy!

I don't see any on that website, just Kingsman turquoise. It's listed as Mohave Purple. But to get the rough or slabs you need to email or better yet, phone them. They are the manufactures for that stuff. If you live close to them, it's worth the trip to see and cherry pick the pieces you want.

Beautiful wrap Randy. For something a machine burped or threw up it is beautiful. It is better than those dyed agates a lot of people sell for sure. Your wife must be special to get all of those beauties. Like Marie said, she will need a room for all those pieces. Bet she thinks she's lucky to have a husband like you :-)

It is amazingly beautiful, the stone is so eye-catching and your wrap enhances it even more.
