I remember someone saying they worked with flint, but can't remember who or find the thread.
Anyhoo, I have a couple of pieces of what I think is flint, although it is very different than the other flint I have found around here. By different I mean these are slabs, whereas the other flint I have found are rocks. I would like to post a pic and see what our flint knapper has to say.

There may be other deviants on here who knap, but you probably mean me llanago, I've mentioned it several times cause it is my thang. I'll admit to being the knapper, if you come clean and tell us the real story about your girl friend! Heheheh, just kiddin. Well, me and my girlfriend went out today and scrounged some wood for our craft projects. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!!
Her son in law found these slabs of flint at a house he is working on. I haven't ever seen slabs like this and don't know if they were found here or if the previous home owner bought them and left them behind.
Course, I don't know how to post pics, so I'll either have to send them to you or go read some instructions, if there are any.

I am sending you pics of the flint by email. Having a hard time figuring out how to post on the forum.
We can't quite decide what to do with them. Thought maybe someone more experiened could give us some ideas.
