I've never worked Gary Green before Snuffy sent me some, bless his little ol' heart. I gotta say this stuff will make your mouth hemorrhage curse words. I would say it's chippy but it's more like chunky because large chunks will fall out while grinding. Not only that but it is diabolical because the chunks will lay on the floor and laugh at you like something from an old horror movie. That said, if you manage to get a cab out of it all you want to do is more of it. Thanks fer lookin' Curt

I forgot about the pits until I looked at the pic and can see some I need to go back and repair. The pits are too numerous to mention and half the size of the Grand Canyon........but still.......

Thanks for making me think twice about cutting that hunk I have stashed away. lol That's a purdy cab though. Well worth the hassle of cutting it.

I hear you Curt. I have a couple of chunks of that stuff. The four times I have tried all turned out like you described. It looks like that cab came out really nice.

Thanks for the heads up on working this stuff, Curt. That's a wonderful cab, and all the better hearing the trials and tribulations getting it done.

Well, Curt, you got a terrific scenic display there, in spite of all the problems.

It came out beautiful, after all that struggle. I like the scene in its pattern.

Wow, Curt...well worth the effort and horror...since it was you suffering, and not me Anyway, think of all that steam you got to let off. I bet you'll be a real pleasure to be around for at least a week, lol. Beautiful cab. I'm glad you didn't let it beat you. Tony

That did turn out to be one beautiful cab. I just love the kind of oil painting scenery on it. That must be the same stuff I tried once that kinda fell apart when I cut it & when I did try to cab a piece I finally got cut it split on me too. I ended up with one little sliver of a cab!

A very nice scene in that cab... nice job Curt. Snuffy's Garry Green slabs are pretty sweet! I have about 4 lbs of his slabs that I got from the Rock shop in Smithville. Definitely worth the cost.
