Looks like an incredible show. I'm more of an Animals and Dark Side of the Moon fan but still would have enjoyed the show.

Looks great. Went to high school with one of their guitarists, Brad Oldham. I'm constantly getting invited to gigs, concerts and parties but never can go, they are always far away from North Carolina and I'm always broke...lol... looks like a great event!

Thanks guys, man it was a blast! ;D
Tony he came through in '07 and did Dark Side in it's entirety, that was flippin' amazing as well!
Edmo! Sounds good, maybe the Wendy's across from the old Whattaburger? That Mexican place Salsalitos just across the street and north a bit burned down a few weeks ago. Shame, they made some darn good burros there.

That show was just in town a couple of weeks ago. Now I'm really sorry I missed it.
I saw Pink Floyd (minus Roger Waters) in about '90 outdoors at the Ohio Stadium (the Horseshoe) during the Delicate Sound of Thunder tour. It was absolutely the best concert I have been to. Complete with the flying pig (and other animals), a phenomenal laser show, and fantastic surround sound with bass that made your chest thump (pretty difficult to pull off outdoors).
Glad you got to see The Wall!

I saw I think the same tour Chuck did, only at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison in '88. As he said, the laser show and flying pig were awesome. Wasn't there a flying bed too? That was a long time ago... Definitely the best show I've been to. I always compare every other show to it. I know that's unfair, but oh well...
Good to hear you enjoyed the show Brian!

LOL Ed! I've neer seen ZZ Top, but would like to. I think now it wasn't a bed, but an airplane at the Floyd show.
I highly recommend Deep Purple too. I've seen them 3 times in the last 10 yrs and would go again in a heart beat! In fact the last time I went they had Thin Lizzy and Joe Satriani open for them. I had the chance to go back stage to meet Satriani, and passed because I'd miss DP...

Ok, I have to digress once more. I was discussing the Floyd show in '88 with a friend at work. He was there too (I didn't know him then), and told me it in fact WAS a flying bed at that concert... Guess my memory's better than I thought! LOL!

Now now Nate Just because 2 people confirm a strange flying anomaly at a Pink Floyd concert, that certainly, is not objective confirmation of that fact! Could be synchronize mass hallucination Been know to happen at Floyd show! Besides I’m pretty sure it was magic carpet! No No No ----that was Steppenwollfff in ’68 see --things get easily confused O’.k O.K--- but I did see 4 monkees pushing a bed down the street but hey hey--- they were jus foool’n around

that looks like a great show! obviously from my nickname, i am a PF fan. only saw them live once, tho, in '87 when Momentary Lapse of Reason first came out. i remember the flying pig but not the flying bed. that brain cell must have long since evaporated.
