I want in on this . Three`s not a crowd , is it ;D Psaronius fern slab .Vermilion County , Illinois . I am judging this is about a fifth of what was a full round .

Very cool! I cut the specimen of root I found in the rock yard the other day and it does look very similar. I'll take a pic and post it this afternoon....Mel
