Nate- It is really more about the stone than the saw . Metamorphic rocks are real tough , making them good canidates to try cutting thin . I have tried agate , but fractures have been a problem .
Tony - I have identified it as a fine grained epidote - metamorphic rock . It is opaque , and jasper consistancy , hardness 6 . beautiful .
