Here's the Ochoco Green Moss cab I cut yesterday. It's a gift for a friend of mine, who turns 50 today. Obviously Bob wouldn't want anything frilly, so here's another "manly" wrap. ;D It's wrapped with black copper craft wire. I didn't groove it too deep, as I didn't upset the awesome mossies inside. I always end up with the wire loosening up a little on me when I wrap the bail. I even used tape this time, but it still did it. It is secure, so I'll leave it. Thanks for looking! Nate

Thanks for showing the finished piece, Nate. Looks really good, & yes, it is manly. ;D ;D I like the simplicity of the groove wrap.

Okay, now I like it. I mean it was a lovely cab, but I couldn't see it getting manly on your last thread so I just didn't comment. Now, I like this. Wonder what it would look like though with square copper? Copper goes very well with the green in that stone. Either way, it now has some testosterone to it!
Ditto on the simplicity. Any more and it would start losing it's manliness...lol

Thanks Don. Robin, I wanted something subtle, to not take away from the stone. I figured black would maybe "disappear" when someone looks at it.
Thanks, Nate

Thanks Fran and Ted. You know, black is the new chrome! Well actually I think it's flat black is the new chrome, but you get what I mean. LOL
