Today's winner had it all, sharing gifts during the Christmas season, compassion, forgiveness... and best of all, one of the cleverest names I have ever heard of for a hyper-terrier, Jack Flash. What a great name! So, the winner of yesterday's contest is Susan (susand24224). Contact me with your address and the coral pendant is yours! Today's contest will be for someone to come up with the best Christmas decorating story. It could be decorating a tree, house, inside of the house, the family pet, just about anything except wrapping presents. I know there has to be some great stories out there, so jump right in and give us your best shot! The prize for this contest is a maple leaf shell pendant. I really like the shape of these shells and the edge is trimmed in 18kt electroformed gold. Vance

Wow, Vance, thanks again for the contest! I must confess that I felt the pain of the partially dissolved kongs, the lost scene, and the destroyed Christmas tree. And I attribute the name of the JRT to Crazy Annie.
Thanks again, pm on the way.
Susan

OK !! this just popped into my memory from about 10 years ago . actualy it does have to do with a pet . yet , it does involve a little wrapping . we were at my Parents for Christmas . after done opening gifts . my brothers dog ,Brownie , a Lab mix . walked by me ........... and i stuck a bow at the base of her tail on her back . decorating her .she proceed to run around wiggling trying to knock it off . causing everyong one to laugh alot . she actually got embarrassed and hurt feelings (which i never thought was possible for an animal ) she cowered by my Brother for comfort , even though He was laughing too ,at first . i felt so bad ! i was the one in the family that she really loved to wrestle and play with . and she trusted me more than anyone other than my brother . but i betrayed her . she actually held a grudge against me for several weeks . until , she finally forgave me ... and i tried hard . --paul

*LOL* Man those cowsies is cute!
I don't have much in the way of decorating stories. Right before I retired, I went to the office Xmas party with a hunk of mistletoe hanging from the back of my belt. Boss didn't appreciate it much but it definitely expressed my sentiments regarding the management and what part of my anatomy I'd like them to kiss. My wife says sometimes I'm a very hostile person, *shrug* maybe so.....Mel

Ha ha them lil cows is cute as can be!!! Man, one thing I'm figuring out these past 3 days.. I've had some pretty vanilla Christmases! Can't think of a single good story to share. Hmm.. OK! This one year I was putting lights up on the roof, and.. no wait, that was Chevy Chase. Oh yeah.. this one year we were going on a family trip, and I got left behind, and.. oh wait a minute, that was Macaulay Culkin. Oh OK! this one time I asked Santa for a Red Ryder BB gun, and.. uh.. ack!! That weren't me neither!!

Brian, After seeing your collection, I think your Christmas stories involve Santa bringing you lots of purty rocks instead of lumps of coal!@ Rodney
