I've had this a few years, and did post some pics back in 2000, but I thought folks might like to see it again. Lysite. It is a chunk about 2-3 lbs. Here is a scan Here are some shots with the camera A couple of closeups of the feature I have not cut it yet because there are some cracks that run through the solar flare thingy. I will eventually seal them and cun-n-hope. Could end up with tumble rough.

Boy oh boy that sure does have some interesting parts about it!! Some interesting swirls & colors too. That scanner does a pretty good job of getting detail!

I understand Lysite is the name of the area in Wyoming. Not all of it has these sunburst features. www.google.com/images?hl=en&expIds=17259,26767,27642,27914&sugexp=ldymls&xhr=t&q=lysite+agate&cp=8&rlz=1C1CHHJ_enUS381US382&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&biw=1920&bih=1109

I don't think I had known the name before but I believe I have seen this type of stone in the past. Really neat one Daniel! Fran
