Sorry Rocks I can't do, but hopefully these will appeal to you. And 1000 years ago they were defiantly rocks. Have you ever had a scarey feeling that you are being watched no matter where you go? It was quite spooky really. They were rocks, and I guess still are really. Apologies if you are dissappointed. I have nothing else left to offer

Amazing places you see, John, thank you for sharing. Those sculptures in pics 3 and 4 look like giant 3D puzzles. What a precision in putting together big blocks of rock!
I like the picture with the roots wrapped around the stones, looks like the nature accepted the temple by now as a part of it.
Much less eye aggressive scaffoldings and refurbishment works than on most monuments in the "civilised" world. You really could enjoy the monuments in their whole splendour.

Very awesome photos. Amazing how these temples were built and carved. I, too, like the way the tree roots accepted the building as it's own. Thanks for sharing.
