Bummer, it's cloudy and foggy over here. Guess I'll have to stick around for the next one.

I was going to get up to take some pictures of it. We have a storm moving in and it's cloudy out so I won't get to see it.
If anyone gets pix, PLEASE post them!
Thanks, Nate

Clear skies around here, 28 degrees out. About 68 degrees in, been watching through the skylight. Tried a couple of pics but autofocus sucks through skylight and bare branches. Starts going into the dark section (the umbra) in about ten minutes. If it’s any good, I’ll go outside to try for some better pics.

Here are mine (also crappy pics). Started on the tripod, but kept losing it with the clouds and diminishing moonlight, so I had to shoot it, John Wayne style. Happy Winter Solstice my friends!

Hey - for those who saw it (or missed it I suppose aswell!!!) it was a rare one. "This is the first total lunar eclipse in three years, and the first such eclipse corresponding to the winter solstice in 372 years (since 21 December 1638)."

Had a great view of it here in the hill country as it was crystal clear out. Set me up a chair in the yard and watched pretty much the whole thing till I fell asleep and jerked back awake shivering. I took a few pics but they came out pretty lousy. Still haven't figured my new camera out very well. We didn't get the red color here, at least for the part I saw, so thanks for all the great pics.....Mel
