I picked up this little unit at Quartzsite last year. Originally it was set up with a 4" saw blade and the origional 4" grinding/polishing disks. Really a sweet little unit. I've not been able to find Ran Co. (manufacturer) on the internet and was wondering if some of you longtimers are familiar with this unit. I would like to get some more of the 4" disks for it to make it a little more versatile. Any advice or info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance..... Gary

If you can cover the backer with Velcro there are plentiful 4" and 5" resin diamond pads available. If you have clearance for a 6" disc you could use Ameritool or High Tech diamond discs or facet discs.

Bill Myers (Myers Rapid Polish) uses a very similar set up with 8" SC discs to dry sand his cabs. He gets great results but I would try to adapt to wet sanding.

I saw some 4" discs just the other day somewhere. On eBay, I think.
