Hope everyone had a great Christmas! Here is a few new ones I did this weekend. First is a piece of that albite moonstoon Nate sent me. Thanks Nate! I tried to get the silver sheen to show, I think I got at least a little of it to show; Next is some kind of pretty purple-ish agate type stone from kap, thanks again Keith! Next is some of the prettiest crazy lace I have seen so far! From kap also; Back: Another piece: Back: And, finally, a money clip I made for myself. It is a piece of obsidian covered by some optical quartz. First time I tried a doublet like this. Thanks for looking! Mike

You're welcome Mike, I'm glad you like the moonstone. Nice stuff to work, and sure is pretty! The rest of the cabs are fabulous too. That's some great lace.

Cool money clip. The Quartz top should keep a much better shine in your pocket than the Obsidian would.

That crazy lace is spectacular and you shaped it into beautiful cabs. The obsidian doublet is beautiful too. Did you also make the silver(?) work?

Lookin good. I like those crazy lace patterns a bunch. Looks like you got that silver sheen on the moonstone no problem. Is that the cool sparkley parts? Very nice work. Steve

Adrian, unfortunately my skills do not include silversmithing just yet. I have just started with learning how to solder silver, so I am working on it. Being able to do more in the way of silver work is a skill I certainly want to acquire. Yes, Steve, you are correct. Thank you all very much!
