Arizona Onyx ! great pics Clint I have an old (1910’s?) newspaper article on the Mayer Onyx Mine. Basically about the New York investors that capitalized on it. I got this article from a Phoenix Onyx shop that was located on Rose Garden & 19th ave. Unfortunately, they’ve gone out of business. They have a pretty large slab of Onyx out in front the store. The business that took over the building, (a real estate company i think) had the AUDACITY to tape their company logo/ advert right onto that beautiful slab. This will not stand! Blasphemy !! the sarge EdMo

Both of those are Mayer Onyx.......the bottome one....white/black is highly prized in Russia.....The mine owner ships alot of that stuff to Russia.....the top piece is from the northern side of the mine..........the harder to find multi-colored is mined on the other side of Hwy 69......i guess that would be the south side of 69....north side of the road has the white/black, red/brown...

Maryann, The first piece is identical to the honey banded onyx that comes from Seven Springs, in fact, I don't know how anyone would be able to tell them apart other than by collecting the material themselves.
The Mayer material that I have seen had less color in it than the seven springs stuff but I know they are very similar.

When I click on your banner to go to your site I get a warning that it contains malware! Didn't know if you were aware of that or not. Perhaps it's my computor but I just wanted to say something. I wanna go look to see what you have. (As if I needed more rocks)!

Great looking Onyx!
Jamie - JFYI, I also received a malware warning when clicking through to your site via your banner. Was identified as a known trojan. I have been to your site numerous times in the past but this was the first such report.
