I am trying to decide which would fit my needs best.....I have a lortone QT 66 and a 32B already and a single LOT-o . I use the 66 for 60/90 coarse and the 32B for 120/220 and the lot-o for pre and final polish,,,,,so far my 66 is not keeping up with the 32b so..........what would you buy to keep up? The QT12 or the QT 66? I would like to keep all barrels rolling.....also,would the QT12 handle larger rocks better than the 66?.....THANKS RUDY

Rudy,I have 2 Lortone 12 lb'ers going at all times. They seem to me to take about half the time to take the rough stage as smaller tumblers do.I dont have any 6 lb'rs to compare to,but do have 2 45c's. The largest rock I've tumbled in them was a little over a lb.You can tumble larger rocks in it, a few at a time, just need an assortment of smaller rocks in it so the big ones roll instead of falling and banging. Love my 12's

Why don't you buy a 12 lb. drum first and try it on the QT66? Other than drums they are the same.

Thanks Snuffy and John for your responses. I think I have decided to buy the QT12 to have the additional machine which will double my coarse output. I was hoping to hear from someone that uses both sizes for comparison, but Snuffy's experiences are good enough for me. Thanks again guys.......Rudy
