Why not, Ray? You did an awesome job, with the wire ground to flush the stone.
Beautiful, indeed!

Nice work Ray. I like the wire filed flush like that too. It really gives it a finished off look. Mine are a bit more crude than that LOL!

No offense to any of the wire wrappers here (rappers?), I usually don't have much to say about the wraps as to me they should not take away from the look of the stone (except when Chris does helmet shaped wraps!!), but this is just an awesome way to hang a cab as a pendant. To me the simplicity of the wrap accentuates the beauty of the stone. It's like me and my wife... she's absolutely gorgeous, but standing next to me, poor simpleton, makes her look even better....hahahaha....

That is beautiful! What is your method of grinding the wire flush with the stone?

I agree with everyone else you did a fantastic job of wrapping and an excellent stone choice to boot!! Looking forward to seeing more.

Beautifully done, you should be proud! What are the specks on the wire you used? Square? Round? Half round? Hard? Soft? etc... Thanks, Daniel

Thanks for all the positive feed backs. Here is a few details that might help anyone wanting to try it. First I cut the groove on an already finished cab with an inland glass grinder. I ordered a 1mm groove bit from Sunshine glass. Adjusted height as needed. Then wrapped with 20mm round wire using this tutorial forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/index.cgi?board=wwp&action=print&thread=30091Hope this helps and I look forward to seeing your works. Ray
