Howdy folks,
For any of you in or near the Texas hill country next weekend. The Fredericksburg gem show is next weekend. Jan 15th 9AM-6PM and Jan 16th 10 AM to 5PM It's at the Ladybird Johnson Municipal Park 3 miles south of Fredericksburg on HWY 16. It's a pretty darn good show with a fair amount of dealers and is always a good time.....Mel

Thanks for the info Mel.Might try to make it next year.No work the last month kinda cut into my rock budget.  About 190 miles from me,nice hill country drive once I get through Austin. snuffy |

Jeff, I always stop for breakfast at the Laredo taco factory Yum yum! And I'll be at the show when it opens 9 AM Saturday morning. Will be the big galoot with the denim jacket and the "Sunday going to meeting" cowboy hat but I guess in this part of Texas, that don't narrow the field much huh *L*?

I'm going to try to make it Saturday. I'll be the skinny gal with a blue and white George West Longhorns shirt. I'll probably be wandering around oohing and ahhing over everything. My first rock show. Don't know what time I'll be there, I'm bringing a couple of other gals (rockhounds in training).
I look forward to meeting everyone in person.

I'll be there with my two best friends from high school. It'll be two fat chicks with a skinny chick - the skinny chick is me. And if they were typing this, they would say the same thing - two fat chicks with a skinny chick. And we'll be probably be laughing about something. That's what we do - get together and laugh til we cry.
