:help: i was looking at the cite for the groove machine forgot the name ? anyway there were no prices and when you went to find a dealer they all sold everythig but the one i'm looking fore. now i remember it's the gryphon do any of you have any info or price that you paid or better yet do you have one to sell ?let me know please thanks in advance roy

Jsgems on this board sells the gryphons. There are 3 sizes and prices.

thanks curt, nates set up is a place to start but i really like those machines you can grind and shape things

Get the Gryphon Gryphette, great for shaping preforms! I have the groove bit but haven't used it yet, still need to get some wire.

I use the Gryphon Twister. It has a water pump whick I prefer to the drip sponge.
You can get bits for edge grinding preforms, cutting a groove, beveling an edge, and grinding pins for cutting holes and working on inside edges.

Simple yet effective. I love it! I take it that dremel motors are sealed? Otherwise they'd get the water in them, right?
