How about giving a little history of this wash? Was the wash put in when the housing development was made? Or is it a natural wash? Are the rocks from that area? Or landscape rocks transported there?

Ed I know not the history of the drainage in the area. I assume they've been running the same or similar courses for many years. Donnie I believe Green Valley is south of Tuscon, about three hours from here. Hope your sister finds you some good ones! ;D

Wow I'm surprised to see this thread float back up! I haven't cut any of these yet (I think lol), but I did cut a couple from a trip I took this morning with lonetreestudios (Rodney). We spent a few hours north of town hounding some Moss Agates.. here's a couple I dug up
