Less than $2 lb delivered. At least it's about the cheapest I've found. Had to pay $44 shipping on the last 50 lbs I got. Thanks for the info.

Hey, TMC, thanks for the head's up. At that price, I could convince myself that I need it!

I ordered 50 pounds. They do charge handling fee ( they call it shipping and handling but shipping is free) so total cost if a bit more but still barely over 2 bucks per pound shipping included. Good deal since I've been paying like $2.50 per pound and then probably another $30 shipping which works out to about $155 for 50 #...Mel

PS: I got the statement on the shipment and they dropped the handling fee too when they billed my card so the final cost was indeed $95 for the 50#. Very cool!. I just hope they did not drop the insurance as I'm a bit nervous about 50# of grit being sent through the mail in one of those weak priority boxes. I'll let you know how it turns out....Mel

Yeah,Mel,I'm anxious to see too. The last 50 lbs I got from Miles Supply, they started shipping in 5 gal buckets. Their grit was like $1.43 lb. Then they charged $7 bucks for the pickle bucket, $44 shipping.

I also noticed they dropped the extra charges of Insurance: $0.75 and Additional Fees: $2.00. I also added a pin vise to my order and they dropped the shipping of 11.46 which was way to much in my thoughts, but the vise was still cheaper than what I could find elsewhere. So I ended up paying 95.00 for the grit and 5.50 for the vise with no other charges. woo hoo ;D

My grit came today ( 4 days, not bad) in a large flat rate carton, well taped and no damage. Very cool deal!.....Mel

wish they were offering the deal on the 120/220 I agree with that too. Hmmm, can't hurt to call and ask. I ordered two fifty pounders of 60/90 some time ago, but I did have to pay the shipping. Don't remember how much it was though. Condor

Mine also showed up in 4 days. Makes me wonder if the postal service is rethinking the flat rate box deal. They did mark it "caution very heavy". In the Air Force 50#'s was a 2 man lift. ;D

I saw it in their sale catalog yesterday. Fine deal, but I still have a bunch. For those who ordered it, glad to hear it arrived in fine shape. Steve

i am waiting for my batch. i am down to about a pound of 60-90 from the rock shed. found out that i need a lot more coarse than the fine and polish. letting the rough batch tumble longer looks like it doesn't need as much fine time. a few rocks from the last coarse batch i put right into the ao500 to see if they look good when polished. charlie
