Krystee, to the right of the drill press / metal lathe, I see a bench grinder. Check the RPM's on the motor data plate. If it doesn't turn more than 1725 RPM's, that would make a much better buffer. The motor is a sealed unit, so you wouldn't have to worry about getting water or grit in the bearings or motor. And it would take up a lot less shop space. Don

Don, will check it out, photo and post what I discover! The shop came with the house but is unheated and unused. Wish I would have taken Tech Ed, I would feel much more knowledgable!

Don Don, Bummer, it appears that the bench grinder is 3450 rpm's Darn it.
