I do not know if this is the right thread to put this on ... but here goes

Since I have given myself a much needed kick in the butt ... rock wise ... I have also renewed my membership with my local club. They are the Conejo Gem and Mineral.

I missed the January meeting ... BUT ... this weekend is TRIP to Oak Park for Pet wood and stuff.

I am so stoked about it and then in February ... there is another local trip which I plan on going to. There are three sites in February and I am just so excited.

Thanks all .... for always being here just waiting for me to come home.

Hey! I'm right down the road from you. I belong to the Ventura club. The field trip in march is out to to the Cady Mountains where I've been collecting the red moss and plume agate samples I've been posting.

You are joining at the right time. The VGMS president (and I believe your president) is Rob Sankovich who is also now the field trip co-chair for Southern California with Adam Deane. So there is a lot of stuff coming up during the next few months.

I completely forgot that you are in Ventura. I keep meaning to send a note and then forget as I get side tracked.

I am getting so excited again. I joined Conejo in 2009 and then life got a bit strange. I took a little hiatus from everything.

I am now getting revved up all the way around with my rocks!

I will try to remember to take my camera tomorrow so I can take pictures of where I was and what I got.
