I also got this one It almost loosk like jade but has an agate feel to it and alot of hidden yellow. Any thoughts on what it might be. Attachments:

Yep, it looks like jade. Again, it looks just like a huge chunk of jade that I have been waiting for warmer weather to chop up.

I suspect it is a serpintine. Looks like jade and can be mistaken for Jade but it is not. It is a beautiful stone though! Fran

Take a pocket knife and scratch the surface. If it scratches it is likely serpentine. If it leaves a metal streak that wipes off it could be jade. Jade will look fibrous with a loop rather than crystalline like agate/jasper. Looks a lot like the serpentine found lots of places on Central CA coast.
