Just wanted to show some I used as tumbling media. The ones at the top are the size they were.The tinies are what they are now. snuffy ;D

I really cant say how long,I used to put them and safety glass in every batch,but got away from it, dont know why.Probably over a years time.

how much lead is used in Marbles & plate Glass, Is their a hazard?
I would say Though my 14-D is still wedge mouth.

Glass makes my barrels puff up and leak. I switched to ceramic balls I collect after catalyst reloads on hydrotreating reactors.

I just spent 3 months starting up one hydrotreater and next month we'll dump one. I'll try and put aside a shoe box full of balls.
